Manage multiple cross functional / multicultural teams of more than 100 direct and indirect reports, including manufacturing supervisors, operators, technicians, quality engineers, and skilled trades, which were responsible for $101 million sales volume in 2008 and $45 million in 2009. Facilitate meetings and discussions to bring consensus and heighten focus in problem solving. Adjusted head count and spend-to-right size department proportionally to economic downturn. Developed team members through mentoring, coaching, and empowerment to ensure continuous improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and scrap reduction through implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. Analyzed manufacturing results to ensure accuracy and to set targets for future improvements. Led review discussions, with steering committee, of Lean implementation, budgets, and plans.
