Daily Duties at Med Data Management:

• Managed proprietary software located in twenty-three hospitals across the United States • Provided software upgrades using PC-Anywhere. Ensured data integrity by analyzing EDI files from Medicare and Medicaid • Used ODBC connections to build specialized reports in Access and manipulated the proprietary database structure • Created and maintained specialized programs for each hospital for payment from the fiscal intermediary • Found major existing date problems due to array overloading in reports that the hospital used to keep from being fined by the government • Installed Postlink programs, configured software, and trained hospital personnel
