Daily Duties at Charles E Jarrell Mechanical Contractors:
• Worked with general contractors to provide private, government and semi-government owned organizations concept, design, estimating and construction phases of new and remodeled building projects. • Worked with design engineering teams on projects from concept floor plans with design criteria, through design and drawing review meetings, solicitation and selection of local subcontractors. • Project managed mechanical / plumbing projects both locally and nationally including the management of the subcontractors throughout the project and completion of the final punch list and closeout documentation. Schedules, quality and costs being at the forfront of the management process. • Possess LEED building knowledge through attending several LEED green building seminars and completing two Silver rated or higher LEED buildings. • Engineered and hand-drawn plumbing projects from single toiletrooms to 22 story apartment buildings. • Engineered systems include: storm and sanitary drainage systems, domestic hot and cold water systems and plumbing fixture selection based on the end user. • Consulted Drafting / CAD department to ensure that new, modified and record drawings are completed correctly and on-time.
