Daily Duties at Accion International:
• Develops feasibility studies and business plans for greenfield microfinance institutions in Africa • Provides market analyses on the economic environment and trends, informal sector, legal and regulatory environment, competition and demand for financial services • Manages a $3.3 million program budget, including analyzing, monitoring and approving all budget expenditures , and ensuring the use of proper funding codes • Liaises with 15 field and home office staff to resolve all uprising issues; and ensures the compliance of the Africa program with all policies and procedures • Provides translation of various documents in both French and English • Manages short-term contracts, and ensures that all payments are submitted in a timely fashion. • Conducts training sessions for field staff in French
