Daily Duties at Usda Agricultural Research Service:

- Establish, maintain, and expand a molecular genetics and plant physiology laboratory. - Select and purchase equipment, arrange service contracts. - Evaluate and managed new research directions. - Identify and perform experimental procedures. - Train technicians. - Conduct aseptic plant tissue culture experiments using steril technique. - Operate laboratory equipment; gas chromatography, gel electrophoresis, fluorescence spectroscopy and microscopy (steroscope and scanning electron microscope).
