Daily Duties at Card Logic Group:
Hired on a contract basis to manage all software development efforts. This includes being involved in initial client discovery, development of the basic Design, Specification and other documentation, management of a development staff consisting of up to 5 outsourced developers, and management of all testing efforts. Selected Highlights: • Development of an E-commerce Portal to support a Recurring Billing Model – Performed initial design and created the Specification document for an e-commerce website and backend software for a stored value card program which would support a recurring billing model as well as allow the card to store up to 30 currencies which would be recharged each month that the billing was successful. This included integration with a fulfillment application and the company’s core stored value platform (as well as some modification to both applications). • Conceptualization and Design of an Electronic Couponing System – Took an extremely high level concept for an electronic couponing system, and turned it into a full-fledged design for a state of the art multi-tiered architecture. The system allows merchants to create multiple types of coupons and deliver them to member consumers via e-mail and text message, while tracking consumer use of these coupons and delivering multiple metrics to the merchant.
