My role was to assist the Vice President of Development and Public Information as well as the Coordinator of Public Information. Responsibilities included preparing monthly press releases to local newspapers, radio and cable stations, as well as advertisements for annual fund raising event. Implemented fund raising software for donor base. Prepared check requests for billing and purchase orders. Oversaw fund raising projects and organized special events. Prepared correspondence materials for annual fund drive. Supervised weekly volunteers with departmental projects. Processed acknowledgement letters, correspondence and memorandum. Maintained inventory and ordered office supplies. Screened incoming telephone calls and assisted in rotating switchboard coverage
