Daily Duties at Curves:

Owned, operated and managed two Curves fitness franchises with ten direct reports · Internal duties included, all office management functions; interviewing, staff training, evaluations, goal setting, monthly staff meetings, maintenance of contracts and confidential member files and all payroll and tax information. External duties with members included sales, education and demonstration of equipment and nutrition, contracts, as well as customer services functions. Other duties included creation and execution of marketing plan as well as budgeting and analysis Primary role as Circuit Coach – providing personal training and motivation to members. Attribute’s included superior communication skills and flexible personality to adjust teaching style to all ages, abilities and fitness levels Responsible for driving member sales via marketing events, direct mail, email and telemarketing from creation of ideas through back-end follow-up. Used branded promotions to leverage sales at local level. Increased membership 26.7% in the 1st year of ownership despite depressed market conditions Managed all public relations and community relations programs as related to Curves. Worked to create and strengthen community relationships that pertain or relate to the fitness industry via events and business meetings Administered all month end reports to Curves International and work with Area Director to stay current with training and marketing materials for upcoming events; presenting a consistent brand message with multi-level advertising campaigns
