Daily Duties at Med Staff Inc:
• Ensured compliance with regulations under HIPAA, NCCHC, JCAHO as well as State and Federal Government agencies (CMS). • Provided administrative leadership and support for over 50 clinical and non-clinical personnel encompassing both front and back office operations. • Managed all Infirmary department operations which include Acute, Ambulatory, Chronic, Correctional, OB, Pediatric, Post-Surgical, Radiology, and Urgent care services for approximately 1100 patients. • Directed research initiatives in addition to supervising all potential grants and disbursements. • Managed financial reporting, strategic planning and procurement operations. • Established and participated in the physician peer review and patient expiration committees to minimize malpractice lawsuits and identify areas for improvement. • Knowledgeable of HMO, PPO, POS and Managed Care insurance functions.
