Daily Duties at Air Products & Chemicals Inc:
• Coordinate the development of monthly forecasts for gases and chemicals made by APCI, by Electronics customers such as Samsung, Intel, IBM, TSMC and UMC. • Develop forecast accuracy reports to monitor monthly forecast plans against actual sales. • Developed and implemented a manual control system to monitor the usage and procurement of raw materials , process chemicals and hard goods for a Hometown PA Chemical Plant facility numbering (300) employees. When complete, the project will save approximately estimated 2.3 MM dollars • Developed and maintained consumption based inventory replenishment strategy for (5) locations in Asia prior to implementation of SAP software • Helped developed a strategy, process and a Microsoft Access database for “right sizing” stocking • levels of inventory using re-order point planning that is based on historical consumption and balances the cost of procurement against the carrying cost of on hand inventory
