Daily Duties at Legal Aid Society Of New York:
Advised Haitian nationals regarding eligibility to register for Temporary Protected Status in the wake of the earthquake in Haiti. Trained other volunteers on those requirements. Participated in free clinics, run by the Legal Aid Society to assist Haitian nationals fill out appropriate paperwork to receive Temporary Protected Status including forms I-821 (Temporary Protected Status) and I-765 (Employment Authorization Document).
