***** Design for Test: Communications processor for Printing, Imaging, VoIP and Routers/Gateways • Participated in building DFT architecture for the complete SOC. • Generation and gate level Verilog simulation (SDF annotated) of ATPG vectors. Generated Vectors for the complete chip and individual modules using Fastscan in DC Scan Mode. • Worked on improving scan coverage for the individual modules by modifying RTL and synthesized logic. • Wrote Perl scripts for creating Smart Stubs for modules for early DFT architecture verification in design cycle. • Worked on developing the methodology for the use of EDT (Embedded Deterministic Test) for scan compression using Mentor Graphics TestKompress. ****** Verification: PowerQUICC based communications processor for ADSL, Ethernet ,USB and ATM • Designed the Core-ADSL expose block to bring their pins directly onto the chip for testing them. Further wrote patterns in Vera language to verify the functionality of the block. • Performed RTL and gate level verification of SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) module. Wrote new patterns and ported existing patterns in VERA. Documented the test plan. • Conducted RTL Integration of the complete SoC using an internal tool. This included integrating all the modules, I/O pads and DFT scheme.
