Daily Duties at Ge Aviation:
Responsible for engineering project leadership of the support of current and legacy flight data recorders. • Lead Six Sigma projects to streamline test and assembly processes and eliminate waste saving over $2 million dollars in reworks costs and reducing over $1 million dollars of stock in 2009 • Utilize Apollo Root Cause Analysis to create effective corrective actions to provide continuous improvement for product lines. • Present to management and other stakeholders material describing project goals and progress reports. • Plan, organize, and schedule studies to support manufacturing floor and field problems supporting completion of project tasks on time. • Maintain project budgets of between $500,000 and $4 million dollars to control expenditures. • Develop and Implement communication plans for internal and external customers which define project requirements including Statement of Work and Work Breakdown Structure.
