Daily Duties at Mastec Advanced Technologies, Inc.:
Implement and maintain company procedures for quarterly physical inventories, cycle counting, and issuing of material. Ensure that equipment is available for technicians by generating purchase orders as needed. Conduct daily cycle counts of warehouse and weekly audits of technician’s vans. Analyze discrepancies and correct transaction errors. Conduct quarterly physical inventories of warehouse and van inventories, process results in Oracle system, and reconcile counts. Process inventory transactions (issues, returns, transfers) daily. Recycle aging inventory to ensure equipment is up to date. Schedule daily activities of warehouse personnel. Set goals for team members annually, and identify growth opportunities. Analyze variance reports and inventory trends for individual technicians and sub-contractors to ensure inventory is distributed and used efficiently. Maintain and update inventory transactions the Oracle inventory system
