Daily Duties at Zurich Insurance Services, Inc.:
Maintained and underwrote a new and renewal book of business. Lines of business: Commercial General Liability, Commercial Pollution Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers Comp, Professional Liability and Umbrella Liability. Successfully maintain a $5 million client portfolio with less than a 15% loss ratio. Analyze, research & underwrite 8500+ individual accounts for new business development and ensuring compliance. Developed and facilitated six-month long underwriting technical course with over 30 successful graduates. Developed several technical manuals for an underwriting training program. Negotiate commission rates with agents/brokers resulting in increased profitability.
