 Originated and served as lead counsel for large, multi-brand, international shoe company for whom I successfully resolved a domain-name dispute under URDP, two TTAB opposition proceedings, and counseled on their entire one-thousand-plus international trademark portfolio  Handled all aspects of state, federal and international trademark prosecution for domestic and foreign clients, including counseling on trademark selection, availability and filing strategy; drafted responses to official Office Actions, notices of irregularities and refusals; ex parte appeals; and preparation of related pre- and post-registration filings  Inter partes Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Litigation including drafting Notices of Opposition and Cancellations, Answers, discovery requests/responses, motions, trial briefs, and settlement agreements  Litigated domain-name disputes under UDRP, including drafting complaints, briefs, responses, and negotiating settlement agreements  Drafted and negotiated licensing agreements; publishing agreements assignments and contracts involving patent, trademark and copyright issues  Managed foreign litigation through foreign counsel  Reviewed trademark monitoring reports and prepared infringement analysis reports  Negotiated and drafted business-related filings such as vendor agreements, work for hire agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and fictitious business name filings  Reviewed client advertising materials and advise clients on related intellectual property issues *Note: my departure from this firm was solely due to the slowdown in business caused by the recesion and not due to any dissatisfaction or performance issues.
