Daily Duties at Methodist Hospital Of Brooklyn Dept. Of Radiation Oncology:
Assisting the physicians (3) with patient exams,taking of weights,teaching medication instructions,dietary meal planning,lab draws when needed. I also counseled many patiens and their families about their disease process, the treatments they received,Cobalt therapy,High energy radiation therapy, interstial therapy and skin treatments. I assisted the therapy technicians if a patient became ill while in the treatment rooms.
