What they like about The Apple Store:
Working in an organization that is technologically advanced, creative, and innovative is critical in your assessment of hiring companies. Less important to you are stability of the organization, the length of time an organization has been in business, and the business' plans for the future. You prefer a fast-moving company that will take risks to achieve its goals and objectives. The length of time the company has been in business is irrelevant. Maintaining status quo is unnecessary. You thrive on change, uncertainty and the upside of potential business risks, especially those associated with innovation. Stability for the long haul is not nearly as important as is working in an atmosphere that is charged with a sense of urgency and constant change.

The rise and ultimate fall of Nirvana, told from the perspective of a man who sat with Krt Cobain for hours and hours, being told his life story. Michael Azerrad was an interview subject of mine and he's a fascinating guy. Brilliant, an uncertain charm |
Our Band Could Be Your Life |
Michael Azerrad chronicles the often ignored "D-I-Y" post-punk movement in the history of rock and roll. A brilliant writer who should be a household name. Great book. Great guy. |
Love and Death: The Murder of Kurt Cobain |
Nowhere else is the solid, factual evidence that Kurt Cobain was murdered presented in a less sensational way. This book just looks at the facts, no yellow journalism. it isn't a conspiracy theory, it's factual evidence presented to show that Cobain's d |

Phillip Norman's Beatles bio. Well researched, a little one-sided but still captures a feeling for what the forging of the band was like during their tenure in Hamburg. Vividly told, it's a gripping read on The Beatles rise and fall. |
