• Perform audits and quarterly reviews of public and private clients in the Houston area. • Test financial records for compliance with GAAP reporting standards using appropriate auditing procedures. • Analyze and explain variances in operating expense accounts considering business performance, industry average and environmental conditions. • Data mining and database experience using Excel features such as Pivot tables and advanced formulas. • Document findings in Excel and related audit software and communicate them to upper management in an appropriate and timely manner. • Build relationships with clients and manage and resolve sensitive issues to successfully complete the audit engagement.
