Daily Duties at Verizon Business:
* Installed and maintained Customer Premise Equipment located throughout most of Indiana. * Performed installation to turn-up voice and data services to the customer, vendors, and telcos. * Installed and maintained telecommunication network equipment at customer and Verizon Business locations. * Partnered with the FAA to provide long-distance network infrastructure across the United States. Oversaw all new circuits additions, upgrades, and maintenance. * Knowledgeable with data networks, routers, switches and other IP network devices. * Mentored new technicians in telecommunications installation and transmission theory. * Undertook new responsibilities to cross-train into new disciplines * Demarcation Extension & Termination
