Daily Duties at Eastbanc Technologies:
• Maintained VMWare IT infrastructure in two locations with 15 physical and 100+ virtual servers on SUN Blade Chasses B6000, SUN storage J4200. • Migrated Windows/Unix servers to VMs (both Hyper-V and VMware) • Implementation of Windows multi domain Active Directory Services (DNS/DHCP/WINS) • Developed and maintained Bash/Korn shell scripts to verify Microstrategy server status. • Generated Bash script using Expect to verify active FTP accounts. • Developed Web-based IT/HR management systems based on PHP/ MySQL and Oracle. • FTP/SFTP Globalscape server administration and assist clients with connectivity issues. • Installed and maintained the following software development tools Atlassian JIRA, Subversion, Apache Tomcat, Confluence. • Upgraded IT infrastructure from VMware 3.5 to vSphere 4.0. Configured Lab Manager. • Migrated Windows/Unix servers to VMs (both Hyper-V and VMware) • Implemented data backups in Windows/UNIX environment using Zamanda and Shell Scripts.
