Managed incoming product quality valued at $450 Million per year. Issued required corrective actions, reviewed and verified previous CAR’s for completeness and reliability, tracked supplier defects. Called on suppliers and reviewed quality systems, participated in quality system reviews, and audited supplier’s processes. Sourced third party inspection services for rework. Perform Red X problem solving projects. Used 5S system to improve efficiency, and control costs. Segregated and ensured noncompliant material was removed from plant. Performed PPAP and 1st article approvals. • Reconciled quality issues in two metal stamping plants by driving root cause investigations via the 8D and Red X protocol as well as reviewing, resolving, and ensuring that corrective action plans were implemented.
