Daily Duties at Sorelle Due Inc.:

Built high-end men’s/women’s fashion and home furnishings business from the ground up. Managed showrooms in New York and Los Angeles, orchestrated marketing and advertising initiatives, handled PR, maintained visual displays, directed and mentored team of 9 full-time and 6 part-time employees. Oversaw budget and controlled costs. • Spearheaded business development and marketing strategies that drove revenues from $0 to $10M maintaining 15-20% profit margins. • Launched new home furnishings division and managed product development with companies such as Martha Stewart Home, Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani and Red Envelope. Division increased domestic sales $700K in first year and generated $3M in international revenues for Italian manufacturer. • Mentored employees who subsequently developed their own businesses. • Collaborated with Italian manufacturers to design and merchandise lines specifically for American market which increased market share from 0 to $2.5 million. • Designed booths for clothing and home furnishing tradeshows; received award from Jacob Javitz Home Show for 1999 Best Booth. • Monitored trends, analyzed sales and advised European manufacturers; resulted in domestic sales increase of 30% and international increase of 20%.
