Responsibilities included process walkthroughs and IT aspects of Integrated Audit reflecting ERP (SAP) applications, which provided strategic and financial objectives to assist clients in managing internal control, business information, manual, and technology risks. Analyzed and reviewed client operations and internal control environments, identifying deficiencies in Internal Control Over Financial Reporting. Composed and communicated recommendations for financial and operational improvements as well as compliance with internal financial policies and US GAAP. Supervised, trained, and mentored local and regional Risk Advisory Services practice team members and new hires on audit methodologies, documentation standards, and performance management.  Encore Standing Ovation Award winner (2004, 2005) for outstanding leadership and client contribution.  Executed and delivered Test of Design walkthroughs through process and control documentation of Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting for financially significant business processes, assessing and identifying business and financial risks and control gaps.  Composed and delivered risk-based designs of Audit Program Guides, test templates and test plans for various audit scopes, utilizing KPMG audit methodologies and the COSO & COBIT frameworks of evaluating and assessing control environments.  Analyzed, assessed and delivered Test of Operating Effectiveness of manual and system controls.  Provided audit results and recommendations for financial and operational improvements to clients through audit reports, assessment summaries and monitoring of remediation/gap logs.  Conducted all meetings, follow-ups, and presentations with executive management, communicating improvement recommendations and soliciting feedback.  Assisted clients in improving efficiency and effectiveness of key business processes, operations and compliance by providing continuous assessment and evaluation of controls under remediation and implementation of new controls and processes.  Provided training and advisory services to client process owners in taking ownership of documentation, risk assessments, SOX and controls testing, and process enhancement.  Managed all engagement stages including audit planning, work allocations, logistics, project management, budget tracking, documentation review, audit report writing and administering of client deliverables.
