Daily Duties at Csc India:

Key Responsibilities:  Setting up a new business unit for infrastructure services offering.  Build a team of domain specialists and new business executives to develop trusted partnerships with the clients of leading IT organizations in US and EMEA.  Build India Direct Service offering to target mid size to small clients in US and EMEA.  Develop skills in local staff so that they can assist in global bids. Achievements and Contributions:  Lead and responded successfully to 10 mid size infrastructure deals (value approx. USD 40-80 million) in last eight months.  Successfully created a portfolio of service offerings which can be sold directly from India with minimal leverage from global.  Trained 50+ sales and account management personnel (from EMEA and NA) on infrastructure services opportunities who joined CSC sales force from Covansys (recently CSC acquired company to compete with Indian pure plays) who have mainly background around application outsourcing.
