Responsible for the surveillance, analysis, and reporting of hospital acquired infections; educating employees about infection control; and the development of organizational infection control standards that meet state and federal regulatory and accrediting bodies, CDC, OSHA, and APIC guidelines. Implement JC 2009/2010 National Patient Safety Goals (NPSG) Update over 200 Employee Health Files Initiate new Hand Hygiene protocol and oversee continuous surveillance Develop process for following up with Surgeons for patients who received implants within 12 months
