Daily Duties at Good Shepherd Center:
responsible for program management of the therapeutic nine-twelve month program and treatment plans for a unit of 15 moderate to severely emotional/behaviorally impaired DSM-IV diagnosed adolescents ages 13-19 in conjunction with the treatment team for the emotional, social, psychological, and physical safety and security for all on unit; • Created and maintained a therapeutic milieu by ensuring adequate training and supervision of 20 residential staff leaders directly providing care and guidance to special needs individuals in a potentially volatile environment 30-50% of the time.
