Daily Duties at Aflac:
• Led online survey projects to gain feedback about new product launches, publications, communication from headquarters, competitive intelligence and diversity initiatives. • Managed concept test, pricing, and positioning studies to support launch of revised cancer product, one of the leading Aflac products. Research findings were used in product development and marketing initiatives for this product. • Conducted study to determine viability of a women’s health insurance product. Research showed low interest for product concept; therefore, product development and rollout did not occur. This resulted in significant cost savings due to resources not being spent on product with low market potential. • Supervised insurance awareness, usage, pricing, advertising and positioning studies among Hispanic consumers. Integrated findings from studies into overall strategy of how to better penetrate the Hispanic market. • Oversaw survey projects to uncover key issues faced by small business owners and consumers with regard to healthcare and insurance. Findings were used in press releases and other corporate communications. • Supervised market development analyst to successfully start and finish projects.
