Daily Duties at Trinity Lutheran Hospital:
shift-evenings/night shifts Thursday-Monday. Sole technologist on duty in department Saturdays and Sundays from 1985-2001. Evening/night shift supervisor 1979-1990, staffed evening shift Thurs-Mondayand performed performance evaluations and disciplinary actions for both RT and support staff. Duties included performing wide variety of diagnostic radiographic exams on primarily adult and geriatric patients, inpatient and outpatient, performing fluoroscopic and tomographic procedures, bedside and surgical portable exams, and panoramic dental/mandibular exams. Self directed responsibility for extensive clerical duties, including managing patient file cards, filing and charting copies of patient exam reports, managing, thinning and purging of film file folders, combining all duplicates as encountered. Contacted on call radiologist and all on call technologists for emergency CT, NM, US exams, processed all required paperwork and obtained all required folders, and performed all support duties as needed, as well as extensive experience in scheduling outpatient Radiology, NM, CT US and Special Procedure exams as needed.
