Daily Duties at Care First Blue Cross Blueshield:
•Work with NASCO and all platforms Enrollment System support to monitor and control target dates for electronic feed of enrollment from Benelogic or electronic capable accounts. •Implement NASCO testing of coded benefits using various enrollment scenarios through model office. •Implement all accounts during system conversion processes (e.g. accounts moving from one platform to another to create a seamless or transparent environment) •Direct B2B requirements to both internal and external contacts during weekly implementation meetings and follow up on all tasks and resources daily for an efficient, clear, and concise systems migration according to either the effective date and off renewal nonstandard request from the client. Manage both new and renewing account implementations, incorporating all coding, communications, and electronic file timetables to ensure execution of planned deployment of business requirements according to RFP’s and contracts or closing documents adhere to requested specifications. Ensure completion of processes and procedures were completed prior to the effective date. •Joined assigned sales team in review of benefit selections in order to assist in completing NAEGS for various accounts. •Integrate corporate and client plan design initiatives via both forming efficient business relations and establishing set Implementation meetings TPAs, par accounts, and internal and external contacts and vendors. Initiate practices used in the Inter-Plan Teleprocessing System (ITS) which allowed Plans to access, send, receive and control claims with BlueCard information Delegate work assignments project progress Evaluate and approve for internal procedures the analysis of client business processes and functional requirements. Review appropriate documentation. •Create and manage detailed work plan and meeting minutes to manage the process associated with new and renewal business projects •Track project budgets for nonstandard and customized requests as well as document risks analysis for review by management and various stakeholders. Provide high level work breakdown structure to support the need for resources from a companywide perspective which afforded the opportunity for additional staffing (e.g. call center, coding, and temporary staff etc.) •Interact with NASCO (national) representatives, Par plans, Benefits Administrators, Brokers, as well as other external vendors in efforts to coordinate tasks accordingly •Provide senior level management with progress report weekly •Create a positive working relationship with internal and external business partners •Interact with operational areas to resolve contract issues •Liaison between Sales, and Operational areas •Support the RFP and Special Projects Units with universal issues and inquires. •Successfully communicate to management all issues that impact the account implementation process •Conduct one-on-one meetings with assigned Sales and Service Representatives as a proactive approach for upcoming renewals and new business •Implement all aspects of account renewals, off-renewals and retro activity as well as inquire regarding their impact to both the Enrollment and Billing and Account Installation areas for all platforms •Integrate electronic enrollment where applicable for Direct, DBE, Benelogic, and other third party vendors accordingly
