Daily Duties at Pfizer Inc:

• Tasked with a significant change management requirement of integrating Pfizer programs, polices, pay structures, compensation philosophy, job titles, and other relevant Pfizer programs and processes into the legacy organization (Embrex). • Comprehensive Human Resource support to Pfizer Poultry Health, a global manufacturing site that manufactures machines enabling large scale poultry vaccination in-ovo –Pfizer Poultry Health (purchased by Pfizer in 2007-formerly known as Embrex) is a division of Pfizer Animal Health based in New York City. • Client support includes Engineering, Business Technology, Finance, Global Operations, Marketing and New Product Development, Manufactuing, Research and Development, Customer Support, Field based Technicians and Veterinarians • Organize and implement Reduction in Force (RIF) initiatives and organizational redesigns. • Collaborate closely with business in ensuring successful integration of new colleagues through acquisitions of Fort Dodge (Animal Health division of Wyeth Pharmaceuticals). • Lead talent development and succession planning for the site-ensuring 100% compliance with Individual Development Plans and focused attention on retaining key talent. • Coach leaders on retention tools and provide resources to them to ensure key talent is actively engaged and recognized throughout employee’s tenure. • Implement strategic feedback tools (360-skip level interviews) to create and sustain a culture of on-going development and organizational health. • Re-organized and re-focused the HR group to a strategic level resulting in organizational changes and increased business support. • Provide superior recruitment support in partnership with the Talent and Organizational enterprise groups. • Manage and supervise HR professionals • Consult with managers on appropriate organizational design and structure to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity from line employees and managers. • Implement and communicate HR change initiatives related to new HR design and support structure. • Facilitated roundtable discussions with people managers to ensure 100% use of on line HRIS performance tool. • Member of site Environmental Health and Safety Team-first responder for designated areas in emergencies. • Develop and manage site AAP and follow up action plans. • Drive the execution of annual processes (e.g. performance management, compensation cycle, promotions). • Provide timely and effective coaching to managers and colleagues on HR processes and programs, driving utilization of on-line and call center tools in response to on-going redesign process. • Resolve complex employee relation issues and provide recommendations to legal and line managers. • Provide performance management coaching to managers throughout the year including mid-year reviews and development planning. • Provide HR support to international colleagues in partnership with local HR in-country leads.
