Daily Duties at Hr & Moore Consulting Services:

Currently serving as an Employee Relations Consultant for a Fortune 500 insurance client with ~4,000 W-2 employees and ~20,000 contract; conducting investigations, discipline meetings, coaching managers on performance management, and recommending strategies for change management initiatives. Served as HR Project Manager in various organizational development activities and programs for oil & gas client with ~1,400 U.S. and 3,500 international employees. Developed short- and long-term strategies to address organizational development and training needs. Organized and devised programs for succession and leadership development, training, and for software selection in the various areas of program development. Aligned HR functions and increase effectiveness of organizational development activities by conducting HR workflow analysis. Assessed program performance and make recommendations to better automate process. Moved oil & gas client quickly forward by hitting the ground running to ascertain what was needed. Arrived prepared through comprehensive research on company’s organizational structure, leadership, and financials.  Boosted company’s positioning in providing international HR support by offering a skill set (HR technology services) that had not previously existed. Articulated value to them of having someone with the level of experience in HR technology services to leverage company for growth and to build bench strength for succession planning.  Sparked the impetus for Director of HR to reduce processing costs by providing a ‘map’ on how functions aligned between positions and departments. As a result, many functions were eliminated and others were streamlined.  Shaved nearly four weeks off software program assessment time to save Director of HR valuable time in advancing succession planning program for roll-out to international teams. In addition, developed online training programs and collaborated with IT to get program into SharePoint, achieving savings in time (>50%) and costs (>30%).
