Demonstrated keen customer service skills by resolving customer complaints regarding issues with their billing Handled accounts payable/receivable and distributed to department supervisor Created schedules, managed, and processed payroll for 6 staff employees Carried out administrative duties such as answering phones, creating patient files, copying, faxing, filing, word processing, and taking accurate messages for physicians Entered procedures codes, alpha and numeric data entry of patients’ demographics, diagnosis codes into DOS System as new system Billed electronically with WedMD clearinghouse for HMOs, PPOs, IPAs, third party insurance, Medi-cal and Medicare. Corresponded with 4 other physicians regarding billing discrepancies with medical records, claims and collections for Medi-cal, Medicare and few IPAs. Software used was Intergy, Impac and Lytec. Recorded weekly business meeting minutes with the Board of Directors and as well as general meetings
