Daily Duties at All's Well Professional Staffing:
Worked in a physicians office with patients receiving chemotherapy; used Alteer medical software Called to request authorizations from chemotherapy and prescription orders; called patients to provide them with authorization number so that patient may be scheduled for an appointment. Setup appointment for patients to conduct office visit with physicians; phone patients when necessary to update patient on amount of co-insurance for chemotherapy drugs due upon office visit. Enter charges from super-bill and posted payments in to system; coded procedures from chemotherapy orders Confirm that physicians were In-Network/Out-of-Network with insurances companies. Familiar with Oncology coding and CPT codes as well as Diagnosis codes; used CMS 1500 forms Bill for St. Joseph Hospital Affiliates Physicians and St Joseph Hospital Medical Group for FFS and Capitated Insurances. Handle all Collections and billing for HMO's, PPO's, Commercials, Medicare and Medical insurances. Submitted Secondary billing claims when necessary; call PCP when requesting copy of insurance cards. Faxed over medical records when requesting for authorizations; verified all insurances via Internet/by phone; enter all demographics for patients; handled all physicians credentialing.
