Team Leader of a 7 person team which provided batch and online production support for the CCPS Claim System and its 70 subsystems; Addressed all production batch and real-time issues to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) were met and communicated problem impacts to senior management; Managed influx and backlog of problem tickets assigned to the area; Plan, assign and oversee team members work assignments; Enforced Claim IT JCL and COBOL coding standards, reducing errors 67 percent; Provided mainframe consulting services by publishing cookbooks of best practices; Performed last line of defense support for all on-call personnel; Main systems contact for CITS Auto Composition Team and its 40 subsystems; Design, code and test COBOL data tagging modules used by Compuset in the creation of bills, checks, statements, confirmation forms and letters. Processed daily user and quality assurance batch testing runs; Coordinated all data file enhancements and fixes with business partners; Design, code and test all real-time update COBOL modules for the Personal Lines Product and Compliance team; Generated pre and post production release ad-hoc reports to ensure all system changes were implemented correctly; Addressed work requests and problem tickets assigned to the area.
