Daily Duties at Knowledge Adventure (Davidson & Associates) :
Responsible for performing Whitebox and Blackbox testing, Utilized standard and custom testing tools to bring to light coding issues. Developed test plans to be executed by testers with both matrix and ad hoc testing methodologies and then compiling data received from testers. Managed Macintosh hardware and testing tools. Ascertained viability of code ported from other platforms. Work closely with Tech Support to uncover causes of problems experienced by end users and then incorporated the knowledge gained into future testing procedures. Was also the Lead on the UI design team for a new web based bug tracking database. Worked as QA Lead, or as Technical Lead on products shipped from August 1996 to October 1997 for products shipped under the Davidson, Simon & Schuester, Blizzard and other labels.
