Daily Duties at Boeing:

 Managed the payroll department that processed timecards for program and contract related activities.  Assisted in the implementation of a paperless timecard recording process for pay and labor distribution process for a $7 Billion aerospace company.  Managed a payroll staff of 15 (fifteen) employees and paid employees for 3 Divisions, covering 15 states.  Implemented effective controls, strategies, initiated operations, prioritized, monitored and reported results.  Responsible for the recording of 43 general ledger accounts in accordance with GAAP and company policies.  Obtained detailed working knowledge of IFMS/IFPS accounting environment.  Developed and implemented financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state and government requirements.  Assisted cost accounting in evaluating cost associated with overhead rate management to assist in complying with government funding requirements.  Demonstrated the ability to adjust and react to unforeseen situations, balancing multiple and competing demands to deliver effective results within budgetary requirements.  Managed the proper recording of journal entries, account reconciliation’s and maintained control over month and year-end accounting closings and conducted annual reviews of payroll employees.
