Daily Duties at Southern California Edison:

Information Technology  Contracted by Southern California Edison to manage IT’s blanket purchase order system with a value of $575M. Duties included the creation of a database used to manage project oversight and updating project schedules, ensured that all contract files contained the respective purchase order, change orders and related documentation, made recommendations associated with effective price competition, single source purchases, EAC’s and change order approvals without extending project schedules and interfaced with various business units. Carrier Solutions  Established and maintained baseline budgets and conducted monthly and quarterly finance reviews, developed monthly variance reports, prepared analytical assessments such as EAC’s and work force planning.  Performed performance metrics, overhead and burden cost analysis.  Based on the revenue stream, developed the method of determining optimal costs and EVM.  Ascertained that transactions were recorded in accordance with company policies and GAAP.  Reviewed and reported on the various related wireless contracts.  Developed the process to bill, receive and record reimbursable cost from customers, gross receipts and monitored all accounts receivable and collections activity by developing a receivable aging process.  Assisted in the month and year-end accounting closing process.
