Daily Duties at Meggitt Airdynamics:

• Performed Finite Element Analysis to simulate static stress with linear materials, rigid body motion, natural frequency occurrences, shock and random vibration, thermal stress, and steady-state/ transient heat transfer. • Conceptualized pump and motor design per specific requirements and oversaw preparation of documentation (drawings, specifications, procedures, proposals, and reports). • Performed sizing and performance evaluations, selected components, and ensured technical adequacy of designs met customer specifications. • Oversaw acceptance testing and evaluate results for technical correctness. • Investigated and resolved technical questions and problems with existing designs. • Coordinated with Test, Production, Contracts, Marketing and other departments, suppliers and customers as necessary to communicate technical issues and support production and field use
