Daily Duties at Preferred Health Systems:
Quality Improvement Coordinator HEDIS Project Manager-Coordinate processes of the NCQA quality measurement tool to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of data in accordance with regulatory standards. Support HEDIS clinical measures by data management, data analysis and report generation. Facilitate the HEDIS Medical Record Review Project. Maintain HEDIS data repository and conduct clinical validation following data loads. Perform medical record research to enhance rates. Conduct training for RN's on HEDIS measures, HEDIS data collection software, and data collection strategies. Supervise medical record over-reads in accordance with departmental procedures and audit standards. Complete requirements for HEDIS compliance audit. Coordinate assigned quality improvement activities, identify areas for process improvements, and perform appropriate interventions. Provider Oversight-Conduct on-site reviews to monitor patient safety, access to care, and adherence to regulatory guidelines. Perform medical record reviews to ensure documentation standards and clinical standards of care are met. Maintain database and generate reports to Credentialing Committee. Conduct provider education regarding identified areas for improvement. Trend and report outliers and/or serious quality issues to the Quality Improvement and Credentialing Committee.
