Purchased construction materials, maintained contractor pricing and job specifications, estimated construction costs, developed monthly cost reports and explained cost variations in budgets. Approved invoices for accuracy, payment and coding to proper accounts. Liaised effectively between Project Manager/Construction Manager, and buyer, sales staff, superintendent, and design coordinator. Played key role in setting up software system to track materials, costs and pay contractors. Supervised employees in issuing permits, purchase orders and buyer options to construction field staff prior to construction start.
