Daily Duties at The Pineapple Corp:

Held responsibility for developing budgets up to $3 million for residential construction projects based on material / labor standards and upgrades. Estimated construction costs, buyer options and mark-ups; negotiated labor and material pricing, purchased construction materials and maintained contractor pricing. Supervised employees in issuing permits, start packages and purchase orders to construction field staff in timely manner. Approved subcontractor invoices for accuracy, payment and coding to proper accounts. Coordinated closely with VP’s of Construction and Construction Managers to supervise communication between sales staff, design coordinator, field staff and subcontractors. Developed and maintained purchasing/estimating computer software module. Ensured compliance of materials with building code requirements. Created direct cost models to enable homes to be priced based on current market conditions and appropriate markups to maintain competitive sales margin. Oversaw all aspects of the plan development, engineering and permitting to commence projects on time, while increasing cash flow and levels of efficiency
