Daily Duties at American Family Insurance:
I was responsible second level oversight of temporary branch claim offices for companywide declared catastrophe events. Duties included direction and coordination of assigned management staff and vendor management teams to deliver equitable claims service to our customers in their time of need through independent appraisal solutions, while achieving company objectives. This role had extensive agency, media and interdepartmental contact as well as acting as liaison for state specific Department of Insurance representatives when required. Also I was responsible for the achievement of branch and unit goals through the oversight of 14 auto physical damage specialists and two support personnel in the states of Kansas, Illinois and Wisconsin. Duties in included training, Human Resource and salary administration, quality file reviews, direction and guidance in a consultative role, direct repair and salvage vendor administration. Served on ICAR committee.
