Daily Duties at Arbor E&T:

I recruited, hired and directed 30 40 member team in four One-Stop Career Center Projects. that provided training, placement, supportive services and business services to the community of Hialeah, Florida. • 2005 President’s Award for Excellence for being a skillful manager of people, budgets, and resources; managed and balanced mixed funding budgets and resources for WIA/TANF, Wagner-Peyser, Refugee Employment Programs and Veteran re-entry programs. I developed and directed leadership teams in order to maximize the utilization of staff expertise and knowledge within a TQM model. • Established a streamlined and an effective delivery system of all one-stop services to both customer and employer. • Planned, facilitated and guided staff in a step-by-step process to surpass performance goals and meet the demands of all program requirements on which continued funding is dependent. My efforts resulted in high-quality screening, referrals and provision of social services. • Implemented innovative marketing and customer service strategies for one-stop services. • Spearheaded the first job fairs for people with disabilities and veterans. • Assisted Corporate Office with grant proposals which resulted in the award of additional one stops and a refugee program that has evolved from grant award of $100,000.00 to a 1.5 million dollar project. • Established an annual Christmas fundraiser for the children whose parents receive temporary assistance.
