Daily Duties at Work Force One:
• Planned, directed and coordinated workforce and economic development services by contracting vendors for the delivery of day-to-day operations within the One Stop Centers. • Designed an electronic system to file and easily access all contracts and agency related documents which resulted in improved transparency and document retrieval for partners and vendors. • Established employer and community roundtables to encourage the collaboration of private and public sectors. • Improved performance and compliance by 10% to ensure Federal and State funding for system-wide training, employment, and large and small businesses services projects. • Coordinated grant proposals in conjunction with community stakeholders such as Universities and Community Colleges and facilitated career path curriculum with training agents. • Negotiated vendor contracts for the purpose of improving delivery of services. • Established model for fiscal responsibility of all departments which resulted in cross departmental communication and accountability.
