Install and manage 250 Windows XP workstations in a networked engineering environment. Take lead role as Remote Access Technician for 4 off site locations (West Palm Beach, Albany, Harrisburg, and Buffalo). Maintain daily backup tapes using Veritas software. Install advanced AutoCAD software on engineer’s workstations and on Win2003 servers for maximum efficiency. Work with engineers to meet client demands and requirements on all IT related functions. Create Symantec Ghost images and maintain consistent updates to stay current. Increase corporate profit by exceeding responsibilities efficiently and effectively providing high quality under minimal technical supervision. Record all helpdesk calls in support tracking software database. Perform problem determination analysis. Train end users in using equipment and software. Upgrade Windows 2003 network servers. Install and configure Blackberry and Smart phones.
