•Provide expertise and solutions to minimize the customer’s burden, and build proactive relationships. •Mentor teams to appropriately manage claims through compliance with The Hartford’s claim practices and state/federal guidelines. • Ensure appropriate levels of productivity for the department/office and drive execution to achieve steady workflows. •Monitor claim and operating expenses to meet $6 million budget. Monitor department and office expenses including adherence to budget (staffing model, overtime, employee relations expenses) and claim-related expenses (vendor utilization, unnecessary medical records, etc.).
