Daily Duties at Y Axis Inc:
• Analyzed the dataflow diagrams, wrote and executed testcases in QualityCenter (QC). • Created testing naming convention standards document. • Performed front-end testing to verify and validate whether the application meets business requirements. • Wrote and executed DQL statements to verify data updates while performing back-end testing. • Tracked the defects in the Quality Center. • Co-ordinated with Business Analyst, Engineers, Project Manager and Application rollout groups in order to set and meet quality standards and deadlines. • Actively participated in weekly defect review meetings to discuss and resolve open issues. • Proactively communicated the progresses and statuses to the Test Lead. Environment: HP Quality Center 9.2, Documentum 6.5, MS-Excel 2007 and Windows XP.
