Daily Duties at Ubp Asset Management:
Responsible for the conception, launch and portfolio management of the firm's Global Resources Fund of Funds portfolio which invests in Global Macro, Equity Long / Short and CTA strategies. Served as the firm's Global Resources Sector Head and as the principal strategy advisor to institutions, Private Banking Clients, sovereign governments, Family Offices and internal fund of fund managers. Performed detailed and intensive due diligence on managers and carried out extensive statistical analysis on portfolio construction, risk management and hedge overlay enhancements. • Specialist in energy, metals & mining, agriculture, shipping, commodity services, etc.; • At the manager level, performed detailed assessment and comprehensive due diligence of over 1,000 hedge fund managers operating in multiple strategies; • At the portfolio level carried out rigorous quantitative analysis on multi-manager portfolios as well as peer groups.
