Acting Manager of ICCU (5/89-5/90) • Managed one of the largest cardiology step-down units in southeastern Wisconsin. • Planned and implemented a 42-bed ICCU expansion unit with a 5.5 million-revenue budget, and 1.5 million expense budget. • Conducted all hiring, orientation, staff evaluations and disciplinary procedures. Education/Coordinator of ICCU (6/88-5/90) • Responsible for 24-hour staffing and operations of the unit that served a patient population with specialized cardiac needs. • Developed educational materials and orientation programs for new staff on ICCU. ICCU staff Nurse I, II, III and CVICU Staff Nurse IV (4/85-6/88)
